Muna Hussaini, Co-founder

Muna Hussaini is the Head of Governance for Indeed’s new Environmental, Social & Governance organization.  She has spent the last 20 years working at large tech organizations supporting enterprise efforts across IBM, eBay, PayPal, and Magento.  Her core competencies are diversity, equity, and inclusion, program management, operational excellence, and agile.  Muna is most proud of launching the Recharge program at PayPal, a program designed to help technologists who have taken a career break return to work.  As a visible Muslim after 9/11, Muna was the victim of several hate crimes.  She now uses her personal time to reclaim the Muslim American narrative and eradicate hate.  Muna serves on the boards of Muslim Space and Interfaith Action of Central Texas, is a member of the City of Austin's Hate Crimes Taskforce, and is on the advisory board of Path Forward, a non-profit that supports individuals trying to restart their careers.

Steve Sachs, Co-founder

Steve Sachs is a leader at the intersection of tech, media, and marketing.  He has held leadership, board, and advisory positions at tech and media startups in Austin and the Bay Area, as well as senior roles at Time Warner in New York.  He is active in the nonprofit community, serving in board member and board leadership roles at the Texas Tribune and BAM (Brooklyn Academy of Music), and helped found a new public school in Brooklyn as well as started a community economic development group that brought new local businesses to an underserved Brooklyn neighborhood.

Venus V. Piñeyro is the founder of Vector U and the Inclusion Plus Institute, a DE&I, coaching, and mediation consulting firm born from deep industry leadership expertise. She has over 18 years of experience solving complex business problems, facilitating groups, defining business strategy, and managing virtual, cross-cultural teams.  As a leader of global and cultural transformation projects, Venus knows that Equity and Inclusion practices optimize an organization's capabilities. She is a certified Myers-Briggs practitioner, Mediator/Arbitrator, Project Manager, and Coach helping people and institutions find innovative solutions. Venus has worked to increase the representation of underserved communities in tech through community and non-profit involvement. Venus believes our journey is unique and through practicing our talents and understanding our truth, we contribute to uniting the global community her young daughter and all of our children will inherit. Her dedication to enabling through inspiring story-telling is one of the reasons she founded “The Strong Latina Project” this year, a non-profit organization dedicated to elevating Latina voices.

Her focus is on anti-racism and equity, implicit bias awareness, creating inclusive and innovative cultures, educating on the ethical implications of bias, as well as guiding organizations on legal issues such as sexual harassment and discrimination.  As a former criminal defense attorney and subject matter expert on implicit bias, she is passionate about fostering equity and inclusion through her work.  Mindy is the Board President of Institute for Diversity and Civic Life, Diversity Chair for American Constitution Society Austin Lawyers Chapter, Board Member, of Surive2Thrive Foundation, Advisory Board Member of City of Austin’s Task Force on Institutional Racism & Systemic Inequities, and Anti-Racism Task Force Member for Representative Vikki Goodwin, Texas House of Representative, District 47.
